Us...

Today, Tim & I are celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary. We've been through so many awesome experiences & have had our share of difficult trials. Yet through it all, we've always kept our lives focused on God no matter how difficult or how wonderful things are going. He is the glue that has held us together this far & he is the only one who can keep us together for many more years to come. I love you, Tim, very much & I wish we could be together on our special day! (I miss you & the kids LOTS!!!) Thank you for always showing me how to love more than I ever thought I could. We are so blessed & our children are an amazing blessing that I know we both treasure beyond comprehension. Have a wonderful day & I'll see you soon! I've put together a small slideshow to honor our special day! Enjoy Tim & whomever visits our blog today! :-)

Madden...

Madden & I had a little playdate/photography date on Monday. :-) We went to the park, picked up Makenzie from school then stopped to take some photos. I have a lot of work going on & as stressful as it all can be...I still want to keep taking pictures of my little ones, too! It's a way for me to unwind when I'm stressed & it gives me a 1/2 hour break to edit a few in between other editing jobs. :-) Although I have a million other things to do right now besides updating my blog...I kind of needed to step away from the work & admire my cute little kiddies! Poor Makenzie is long overdue for her photo session for turning 6, however, her two front teeth are loose & the one has been literally hanging there for weeks! She looks a little silly. Sometimes her tooth is pointing out, sometimes it's back...you never know what you're going to get when she smiles...so I'll be excited to take her out for her 6 year pics once those teeth fall out!! Until then, here's a few of one of our other cuties...:-)

Learning how to ride...

It's funny...even though we have 3 children...Makenzie is our first child & it doesn't always occur to me (until we're in the moment) that we have many "firsts" yet to experience! This weekend, Makenzie learned how to ride her bike without training wheels! HOORAY! She's been talking about it all winter & yesterday said she wanted to do it! And, if you don't know Makenzie...when she says she is going to do something...she does it & won't stop until she gets it! :-) I wonder who she gets that from...(ahem) :-)
Anyway, she literally had it down in about a half an hour or so...after about 10 runs down the little hill in the yard. She was SO excited & we were very proud of her!

Here is Makenzie taking one last spin on her bike with training wheels...

Back on it...
Madden was "cheering" on his big sister...go, Sissy, go!!!

After getting the hang of riding in the grass, she moved onto the pavement. Tim was just giving her a little "coaching" for her first ride on the pavement...
And she's off!!!
Great job, Makenzie!

Makenzie was so cute. She was just so excited & was taking a little break. Tim told her how proud he was of her & she proceeded to run over to Tim & jump on his back with excitement & happiness...
Then a kiss of course...
And back on her bike to ride some more!!!

Way to go, Makenzie!! We're proud of you!!

Little Amara...

I can hardly believe Amara is 18 months. Our little baby is growing up so fast. We had a beautiful day yesterday...it was so nice outside with a nice warm breeze. We definitely got a taste of spring! Tim had taken Makenzie & Madden out while Amara napped...so when she woke up from her nap...I knew she'd love to go outside & play. I followed her around for a little while with the camera. And plus...my mom hasn't seen her curly, crazy hair in pictures for a while! And it IS a crazy head of hair. :-) Here's our little cutie...
