More Easter Fun...

I stayed up LATE on Saturday night making up all the baskets & then got in a cleaning mood...so after all of that I snapped a few pictures before I retired for the evening. And oh how nice it was to wake up to a very clean house! :-) Everyone thought the Easter Bunny cleaned up for us this year...haha.

All Tim & I needed right in these baggies!! :-)

And, of course the Easter Bunny had to leave something for Mom-Mom & Pop-Pop!!! They thought that was cute. I'm sure they haven't had a basket in years!!! They are always so kind to give the grandkids their special baskets & they love it!

On Sunday afternoon after church & lunch...Makenzie & Madden decorated & dyed a few eggs. They had fun!

All set up & ready to go!

Amara & Pop-pop...

What little girl doesn't melt her Pop-Pop's heart? :-) On Easter, while we were all running around getting ready, I went into the living room to find Amara & Pop-pop sitting together on the couch. She loves to sit with Pop-Pop! Tim's dad just loves to watch her go & loves to watch her play. He is always chuckling at her & her little doings! He always calls her his little girly...so here she is with Pop-Pop & this little toy she's sitting in is a musical wagon. She likes Pop-Pop to pull her around in it...even though it's not really a wagon to sit in!

Easter Afternoon...

We definitely did something different this year to celebrate Easter. It was a very nice, relaxing change of pace & we had fun. (We did miss all the fam at the big dinner! I guess we'll see most of you 4th of July??? That seems far away...) We went to the 9:30 a.m. church service to celebrate Jesus' resurrection on Sunday morning. (We've been attending a seminar for the past 11 weeks at church during the morning, so it was nice to attend the service!) After church we came home & had a light lunch. The kids enjoyed their easter baskets some more & the kids then dyed their easter eggs & decorated them with some easter stickers & markers. When we moved...we found one of our holiday bins & how exciting to find egg decorating kits that we didn't use last year. :-) After the eggs...we all relaxed & hung out & around 3:30 we went over to Peace Valley Park where we were meeting friends of ours to hang out & have an easter egg hunt for the kids. We went a little earlier...so we walked around & the kids had a great time throwing rocks in the water, chasing the ducks & going for some walks on the trail. It was beautiful outside & it was great to take in the fresh air! After our egg hunt, we went out to dinner & had a very nice time together. I'll post more pics of the egg hunt & dinner sometime this week. :-)

We brought the wagon so we had a place to put all of our goodies, diaper bag & eggs for the egg hunt. It was a good thing because it kept the kids entertained for a while, too. :-) Amara loves the wagon. I remember when Makenzie got the wagon for her 1st birthday...she was only a little younger than Amara is now. And she loved it very much, too. :-) I'm glad they can all enjoy it together.

Daddy making sure Amara isn't trying to push the wagon down into the water...

and of course she didn't want anyone telling her she cannot do something...here's proof that this little angel DOES get angry sometimes! :-) She completely fits the "baby" of the family personality. It's so funny.

Tim thought it was funny, too. I guess that's what happens when it's the 3rd child...it all starts to become very humorous. :-) Good work, Daddy!

For once, Tim turned the camera on me! It's nice to have proof that I WAS there! :-) Tim was following them around with the camera for a bit while I chased Amara so he then set them up on the picnic table & Madden sure was hamming it up for him! Then I joined in for some love. :-) I put my face right in between Madden & Amara...so Amara decided she would do some kisses...she's so funny. :-)

Just some random fun the kids got into...:-) Chasing each other around is pretty fun...says Makenzie.

Madden was in love with his duck that mom-mom & pop-pop put in his little easter basket. He carried it around with him all afternoon at the park...until the easter egg hunt. :-)

Tim was trying to explain to Amara (after a series of little tantrums) that she cannot go into the water. He's so patient. She finally decided that she'd like to listen to her daddy since he wasn't giving in. So, off she went...onto the next thing. :-)
