Personally, it's a bit scary to see it all laid out like this. Quite a bit of "stuff" going into our kids to supposedly be making them healthier. Maybe these diseases are pretty much non-existent in our day & age due to vaccination, however, we've traded these diseases for a pretty lengthy list of other diseases & health issues that could actually be attributed to some of the very ingredients in the vaccinations. There is no known cause or reason for many of these diseases & health issues that are on the rise in the last 10 years such as ADD, Autism, Asthma, Childhood Obesity, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, Ear Infections, Diabetes (and the list goes on & on)...doctors are baffled at what is causing these diseases & health issues...however, a common thread in all American children is what you see above. Just some food for thought...you know me...always thinking "outside" the box.

Girlfriends Outing...

This past Tuesday, after school, my friend Tracy & I, took our daughters to the place we had Makenzie's birthday party for a fun & special outing. We both hate the fact that since we've had more kids we can't always give our older girls the attention that they need...so we took them out for a special outing to make a special art project together & let the girls get fun princess makeovers. :-) The girls had a wonderful time. Makenzie LOVED it. They made a special memoribilia box which we created together. There were some magazines, etc. to page through & of course, Makenzie found her favorite...Zack & Cody from the Suite Life tv show on Disney Channel. She had to be sure she got a picture of them for her box...and was adimant...she did NOT want anymore pictures. She only wanted Zack & Cody. haha. So, what was going to be a memoribilia box, is now her Zack & Cody box. It was funny. It was a great time! And fun!

Makenzie decorating her box. We used decopage, fabrics, glue, coloring, etc. to make a special box!

The final product. How beautiful!

Jillian getting ready! And of course when they were done...the girls had to show each other their beautiful pink (Jillian) and purple (Makenzie) sparkly finger nails!

While Makenzie was getting her makeover, Jillian began to sing. She was singing in an opera style voice & Makenzie was kind of chuckling...saying..."She is singing loud!" And of course she had to turn around to check her out! :-)

Makenzie getting her makeover! Which she loved! She chose to have 2 little braids with purple "everything" from makeup, to her dress, to her shoes & nail polish.

Makenzie LOVES to sing...so getting all dressed up with a stage to perform on was SO much fun for her. She sang & jammed to a few Hannah Montana songs as well as some pretty princess songs. :-)

The girls each sang their own "solo" song as their final song before we had to go. Miss Tracy asked which song Makenzie wanted to sing to and Makenzie said, "I don't want any music. I am going to sing my own song." And she did. A Makenzie Landis original. Complete with her taking the microphone off the stand & walking out & around the front of the stage to sing to us...we were trying not to laugh. It was really funny. Oh my.

The girls singing together!

Makenzie was a little mad that it was Jillian's turn for her solo first...she went off the stage & had to pout with her arms folded so we would all know she wasn't happy and sit down. :-)
